Global Oneness Project Films Air On "Natural Heroes"

Our films will air this Monday, July 6, at 7:30pm on KRCB, channel 22 (for North Bay Area residents) on "Natural Heroes" the Emmy award winning series. Check it out!

Natural Heroes is an award-winning series seen on Public Television in the United States. The series began in 2004 with the mission to celebrate the independent filmmakers who are turning their lens on our natural world, and to showcase encouraging, inspiring stories of people who are making positive differences for our environment.

BBC News Profiles Global Oneness Project Interviewees

Two Global Oneness Project interviewees, Rabbi Menachem Froman and Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Bukhari, were profiled today in a BBC News article about the possibility of peace in the Holy Land. As a member of Jerusalem Peacemakers, an interfaith project trying to facilitate dialogue between the Jewish and Muslim communities, Rabbi Froman believes that the occupier mentality must change. Sheikh al-Bukhari, a Sufi Sheikh of the Naqshabandian Religious Method and head of the Uzbeke Community in Jerusalem, agrees, "No one can live here as an occupier."

"What Would It Look Like" Screening at the Maui International Film Festival!

Our newest film "What Would It Look Like" is screening at the 2009 Maui International Film Festival! If you are in the Maui area, come on down to the Wailea Beach's SandDance Theater, Saturday, June 20 at 8pm.

For good reason, change is the watchword of our time. So let's ask the question. What if this reality could change? How would that look? Where would we start? What steps would you, somebody, everybody have to take?

This doc tackles those questions by visiting an array of minds who come from well outside the network-news networks. The results are not a lot of fun. But they are fascinating and awakening.

Buddhist nun Tenzin Palmo says quite bluntly, I would love to think that this planet is going through a spiritual evolution. But I don't see any sign of it. The bass-line of this movie is that no one can afford to drift along, assuming that life is getting better. Change can only come from the individual choice that one's own life can take a different route.

Sami Awad, a Gandhian from Palestine and the director of the Holy Land Trust, speaks with inspiration about the new narrative, the new story, the call for a new global identity. Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge, former South African deputy minister of health, invokes the capacity to make peace, not to make war. Other prophets interviewed here include community activist Orlando Bishop, dharma teacher Angel Kyodo Williams, and Don Alverto Taxo, a master Iachak of the Atis people.

This film is a beautiful (visually) and provocative (mentally) invitation to look at life from a broader perspective and to hitch the power of imagination to the force of love.
