We'll be live testing and fixing bugs during the next few days, but please have a look around! Also, feel free to send us any comments, errors or bugs to tech@globalonenessproject.org.

Goonj, the amazing organization we featured in Not Just a Piece of Cloth has an opportunity to win $50,000 for the project featured in the film. This project makes a difference in the lives of millions of women who suffer with serious health problems due to lack of sanitary napkins.
One of their dedicated volunteers, Natasha, is participating in a unique contest through America's Giving Challenge on GlobalGiving. By making a small donation you could help it get an award of $50,000. The beauty of this content is that it's based on the number of people who donate instead of the amount of money they donate…

We've just returned from the 9th annual Images and Voices of Hope summit in the Catskill Mountains, where we screened some of our short films and met other filmmakers, artists and journalists who are committed to using media for world benefit. IVOH is an international conversation about the impact of images and stories on people, families, communities, cultures and the world.
Some of the highlights from the screenings include: One Water, a beautiful and powerful film about the state of potable water on the planet; and madmundo TV, an interactive citizen journalism project with a mission to generate a new interest in international current affairs.

It was also wonderful to connect with other people working in global media, like Georgia Popplewell (above right), co-managing editor of Global Voices Online, a worldwide community of bloggers (definitely a 'oneness' news source). The t-shirt Hannah is wearing was designed by another young woman at the summit, Somy Ali. Proceeds support her non-profit organization, No More Tears. ...Read more
