Emmanuel Gnanamanickam, a community leader and manager of an NGO providing services to tribal areas in South India, says the most important thing he's learned from his patients is that life cannot go on without trust. Working in a way that respects each person's individuality creates bonds of trust, which allows larger-scale transformation to take place.

This video tells the basic yet fundamental truth of life and Emmanuel does it with such open honesty it's truly a joy to witness. TRUST is the answer to most of the issues created in human kind. If we are 'in' trust then there is no fear, we trust ourselves, we trust others and we trust that we can make a difference and that whatever we put out there comes back a hundred fold. Most of all we trust our God, knowing all is happening perfectly for the greater good... Aho xxx

This video was wonderful, wonderful message and wonderful music. Thank you so much for sharing this story with all of us. I agree that trust is absolutely fundamental when it comes to treatment of people with illness. Unfortunately, in the West, many doctors forget - or are too busy to take into account - that their patients are, first and foremost, human beings. Only when physicians see the human beings before them can treatment and healing have a hope of success.

I admire Gnanamanickam's humility and the lessons that he's learned with his work in the Nilgiris. I am especially blown away by what he says about the importance of trusting others. It's also great to see images from a place that I am not familiar with. Thanks for making this video!
